Mark,
In your many talents can you provide a "Shorty" that is Semi-Auto.
Possibly by modifying an over&under for the addition gas chamber? or?
Would be nice to have a "shorty" that will give a quick 3 or 4 shot burst... I'd buy one if the price was right.
Oh and you would probably want to had a handle for stability but unlike the "Super Shorty" which fold beneath the weapon, I suggest the handle folds on the left side (for us right handers) so it could be held much like a Sten gun.
Food for thought? _________________ USMC Viet Nam Vet '66-'68 Semper Fi |

While I could certainly do it, it would probably take more than 3 weeks to get it done (i.e., several years). Best thing going like this now is the Tromix (www.tromix.com) conversion of the Russian Saiga shotgun. I've still never met Tony but have conversed via email with him over the years. He's a good guy and has a great reputation. Great sense of humor, too! I'd love to have one of his conversions but can't afford one.

I wish Sage Industries would sell their 1100/11-87 Sidewinders to the public.

According to the ATF that would put it in the same category as the Striker 12, Pancor Jackhammer, and USAS 12... illegal for civilians to own. Period. That's why Knoxx doesn't make a collapsible stock for the 1100/1187. It replaces the shotgun's sporting purpose with a "killin' folk" purpose. Civilians can't have semi-auto shotguns that are magazine fed and have collapsible/foldable stocks. _________________ Team Scunion strikes again!

A rumor I've heard before, but it can't be true. Numerous SAIGA-12 conversions have been done for years and no one's ever stepped in and reclassed the gun.
Now, I do believe such things could be possible in the future. (Imagine a President Hillary Clinton.) But if that rumor was true, the Saiga would have been reclassed a long time ago.
FYI, the Jackhammer is select fire. It's not restricted as a DD; they're all Post-86 DS.
FWIW,

If I wasn't going to Indiana (SBS aren't allowed there), I'd so build a clone of that.
It looks WONDERFUL! Did you do the wood yourself?

Wow...that is GORGEOUS!! I saw the videos of a full-auto one of those being fired on Tony's website. Doesn't seem that hard to control for a damn 12-gauge machine gun!
