EDM Arms in Redlands has the ammo Jerry Hazlett's been making for them. The 'forming ammo' works fine in the Serbu. _________________ Early BFG-50 in .50DTC

With the increasing popularity of the .50DTC cartridge in CA, I decided to go into the ammunition manufacturing business (06FFL) as a part-time endeavour.
I am making small lots of DTC and M48 spotter to begin with.
Current lots of .50DTC are being made from unfired TZ-77,78,79 brass.
Ammunition has been tested in both Serbu BFG and SHF UltraMag rifles.
Cartridges are prepped, FL Sized, formed and ready to be fire-formed in your own BFG-50 for a precise fit.

I just wanted to add that Ben is great at reloading, we did some reloading for a project and swapped some loaded ammo.
We hit the range and were shooting our .50's, all of the loaded stuff we put together was great. The other ammo we swapped gave him a problem ( a couple, they were fired in my rifle) when chambering, we stuck it in mine and kept on shooting. Seeing an AMAX round hit dead center at 600 yards and flash (must be a small amount of magnesium in that aluminum) is awesome!
Ben's a great friend and is always willing to help out, if you need .50 DTC or other ammo I would highly recommend him. |
