AMERICAN EXPRESS!?!?!?! Call them when you decide that your patience has worn thin with this guy. Have you stated you paid with AMEX in an earlier post? Let them handle it for you... GET ANOTHER DEALER. Any of them should do it for a song.

Dude, did you pay him with plastic? Call your card's bank ASAP. Tell them what happened and ask them to intervene on your behalf. Trust me, they'll be happy to give the gunshop a call and ask what's going on. If they don't like what they hear they'll do a charge back against the merchant's account and put the money back on your card. Then the merchant gets to explain himself and tell why he should have his money back.
Don't wait - while the chargeback can throw the merchant's bank account into the negatives (hence putting the burdon on his bank) the faster you act the more response you will get from your credit card company.

Man, I can't believe we got this! Bad news is, we're totally out of cases and they're overdue. Got a gun waiting for you but unless the cases arrive today, it's not going out until Monday at the earliest (we're not here tomorrow).

No cases yet. Hard to believe that we ordered 'em three weeks ago today. I called and bitched at the lady on Thursday, and she told me that they were shipping that day or Friday. So we expect them any day. At least we can't give your gun to someone else, unless they walk in and want it without a case. |

If you pay to have it overnighted, yes. The cases arrived and your gun is going out today. It's going UPS ground, so it should be there on Monday. We can overnight it, but it costs about $80 more. And you'd have to call the shop before about 4:45 EST to have us change it.

UPS tracking number: 1ZV666W7A844788900. That number won't be active for a couple of hours as the gun just left here 15 min. ago. The only thing in the case was the rifle with bipod lug (but no bipod), and paperwork. By paperwork I mean FFL, instruction sheet, invoice. That's it! I hope you find it worth the wait.
