| They're a little behind schedule, but I've been told they're 30 days out now. We have barrel extensions waiting to be engraved with .510 DTC so we should be ready with rifles right away. |

Wahoo!
I'll call y'all in the morning with an order!
BTW, do you think you could replicate an M2HB barrel chambered for .50DTC ? (would sure make fireforming the brass a lot easier and more fun!) |

Sort of....
.50bmg bullets are actually .510" in diameter.
Yes CA did ban any NEW .50bmg chambered rifles as of 01/2005
This 'wildcat' cartridge was first designed for european use as the .510 DTC or .50 DTC Europ as it might otherwise be called. It uses all the same components as the .50bmg, BUT you must shorten the parent case 1/10", form a new shoulder, then fireform the case to blow out the walls a bit straighter.

Up to now, only EDM Arms offered this chambering for those of us otherwise deprived of new fifties in CA. Their guns run around 6K.
Since this new chamber WILL NOT chamber a .50bmg cartridge, it's legal in CA.
The Serbu is 1/3 the price of the Windrunner. It's all good ! |
