I want the maximum out of the cartridge and my rifle. Will the extra length help or not?
No, I will not compete but the extra length has got to do some good. I mean, hell for an extra $250 I could go for the complete enchilada....why not!
I better make up my mind and quick!!!!! OR Mark is gonna have me on stick as I just started to pay for my rifle and it will be a while till I get it.
Regards

I've delivered a couple of 36" models and they are BIG! Not just longer...but the diameter of the barrell is a baseball bat from breech to brake. It shiped in a wooden coffin, so expect freight to be higher.
The normal bbl will get you to 1000K targets, as will the 36. Recoil will seem lighter due to mass and barrel length. Hard to get a guncase....so you may want to varnish the shipping coffin and put on hinges, wheels etc. Did I mention it was heavy and akward??
If you get the 36" model....maybe someday you'll add the Carbine as well...and have both extremes!
