Finally got my BFG-50 and it's even more fun to shoot than I expected Twisted Evil The only problem is I can't talk the wife into letting me spring for a quality scope. I was thinking about the super sniper and wanted to know if anyone had an opinion or suggestion. I also wanted to tell Mark thanks for making the .50 bmg a possibility for the working man.

i have a super sniper 20X on my carbine i know that its to much scope for the gun but i like to see what iam shooting up close and personal. but when i got my scope i went out and put about 30 rds through the gun and i loss the abilty to adjust the the top turret so i sent it in for repairs and it took almost 5 weeks to get it back i have not mounted it back on the gun because i thinking about selling it. so if you or anybody else is interrested in the scope like me know. it seems to be a good scope for the price. i just think i going to use a differnt scope.

So if I was to go with the Super Sniper would you go 16X or 20X and what kind of rings would you guys suggest using? I live in Oregon so mirage isn't as big of a concern as for you guys in the southwest. I would like to be able to get out to 1000 yrds and have an area to shoot with that much range. Thanks for the timely responses.

I had the 20X SS on my BFG. It didn't make it long. 20X was just not the way to go for me. Seemed to parallax all the time. 16 would have been my next choice. Hold out man! Save up and buy a bad ass scope! I broke my SS a year ago and just finally got a NightForce. Very Happy

Hey the scope depends on how hot your bullets are if you load your own than keep them light and a cheap scope will do i use a busnell 6x18 at the time and does just fine the hotter the loads the better the scope is needed
