News: I'm dating this really awesome, really cute 28-year-old chick. Oh, wait...you want to hear about the BFG-50A. Okay. It's really awesome! It's been slow going, of course, and slower than expected, of course. I just realized that the tooling we bought to efficiently machine a major part of the receiver cost more than the first mill and lathe I bought (combined!) back in 1994. And I'm talking cutting tools, not a machine! So anyway, things are plodding along. My latest official estimate is that the first guns will ship in 2 weeks, which in this case means mid to late October. Hmmmm...that's actually close to 2 weeks, which means there's no way.... And yes, the initial shipment is to fulfill a foreign military order and the rest after that go to fill U.S. orders. So get your name on the list...either you or your descendants may be receiving a BFG-50A soon!!!  No pics now...I just don't feel like it. |

Stuttgart, I went to Munich for Octoberfest when I was in the Army, beer tents were friggin huge and lined up one after another...
