If I buy the Super shorty in Tampa directly from you and i live in FL is there someone you know or use to do the sign off? Or does it have to be in my county of residence,,,

Nobody signs off around here. To sell locally people have to go the trust or corporate route.

There are considerable rumblings that the justice department is going to be changing the registration procedures to not require LEO signoff since it violates the 2A.

2A is actually getting some attention. Sure, there are some cases of stubbornness on the part of the feds (see Dearth v. Holder), but, for example, they rescinded the "90 day residency" for alien requirement since it didn't pass constitutional muster.
